of my Juice Fasting Journey






Yesterday was not as bad as I thought it would be. I had my juice (that was too onioney from the garden) and wasn't hungry all day. (not normal for me!)
No cravings! No Headaches from withdrawals. Felt fine :)


After work 4:30 I went to get my car checked as the check engine light came on. While I was waiting, I saw a m&m machine .25 for a handful.
I went into my purse, grabbed a quarter and got some m&m's. Than I remembered I was on a Juice Fast. I put them into a water cup and gave them to the girl behind the counter. I didn't eat even one. Instead I got a big cup of water from the bubbler which was sitting right next to it. I was so proud of myself.

Yesterday's note: Had to reschedule bible study. Dang!
1st day on job was AWESOME! I love it so far!

I came home and got ready to go to my 2nd job. I didn't have time to buy fresh anything so I rummaged thru my freezer. I found lots of frozen fruit, so I juiced some frozen berries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. I also added this frozen sour Guanabana Pulp which I had bought at a Mexican Grocery Store. (It's picture resembles a prickley pair) but I'm not exactly sure what it is. I thought It would give my drink a kick.
The smoothie was good but lots of hard seeds. Note to self to strain it next time.

Got home about 8:30pm
By bedtime I was hungry, this is when I normally eat ice cream or Popsicle or Italian ice, something sweet. We were watching a movie and I was going crazy. I had to put something on my stomach. I wanted to juice but it was so late I just didn't want to clean up the mess.
So I had a Ramen Noodle. I know, I know... But this was my journey and I wanted to be full.
Decided not to beat myself up over it, I was full, that was all I had and I went to bed an hour later.

NOTE:
Decided to save some leftover smoothie or juice in ice tray or cup in freezer to make ice pops for night time snacking so this wouldn't happen again.

This morning I made a green smoothie with.
2 cucumbers
4 stalks of celery
